Configure FastDL for addons

Objective

Accelerate the download of maps and addons Garry's Mod by serving files via FastDL.

Principle

Clients upload compressed files (.bz2) from an HTTP URL instead of the game server directly.

Configuration

1. Hosting web

   Upload FastDL files to AIS web hosting (same structure as garrysmod/).

2. server.cfg

   sv_downloadurl "https://cdn.votredomaine.fr/gmod/"

3. Compression

   Generate .bz2 with a FastDL tool or community script before upload.

4. Workshop

   Combine with a Workshop collection for Steam addons.
