The most common tools are ULX/ULib and ServerGuard:
- Download ULib and then ULX and place them in
garrysmod/addons/ - Restart the server
- Become super-admin via the RCON console or file
users.txt
Manage roles & permissions
- Define groups (user, admin, superadmin)
- Assign permissions by order (kick, ban, map...)
- Use the menu in play (
!menuwith ULX) for administration
RCON & console
Define a rcon_password in the boot settings to administer remotely, and use the live console Panel for server commands.
Security
Limit admin access to trusted people and keep track of actions (logs).
