Player ports & connection

Server port

Garry's Mod uses the port 27015 (UDP) by default. Your players connect with:

• connect ip:27015 in the console (touch ~)
• Or via the Server Browser Favorites

Steam Server Account (GSLT)

A Game Server Login Token is recommended for public visibility:

1. Generate a token on steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers (App ID 4000)
2. Add +sv_setsteamaccount <token> start-up parameters
3. Restart the server

Useful settings

• maxplayers : number of slots (depending on your offer)
• sv_password : access password (private server)
• hostname : name displayed in the list

Troubleshooting

Invisible server in the list: check the GSLT and hostname. Locked players: check the port and maxplayers.
