These interfaces allow you to manage the server independently of OS: ignition, quenching, KVM console, ISO mounting, hardware diagnosis.
Access
Identifiers and IPMI/iDRAC URL are sent to you on delivery (customer space or secure e-mail). Connect via browser or Java/iDRAC client according to the model (HP iLO, Dell iDRAC, etc.).
Current actions
- Power On / Off / Reset, Power Control
- Virtual Media, Mount ISO to reinstall OS
- Console, Screen access/keyboard as if you were in front of the machine
- Logs hardware, Temperatures, fans, disk errors
Security Change default passwords and limit IPMI access to trusted IPs if your offer allows.
